警方正在调查一架直升机于周六下午在圣布里吉德-迪贝维尔市10号公路附近的Rang des Écossais一带的田野中坠毁的事件。
Police are investigating after a helicopter crashed in a field near the Rang des Écossais off Highway 10 in the municipality of Sainte-Brigide-d’Iberville on Saturday afternoon.
魁北克省警察发言人Brigitte Dorsainville表示，事故发生在东部时间下午2:30左右，首批救援人员到达时直升机正在燃烧。
Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Brigitte Dorsainville said it happened at around 2:30 p.m. ET and the helicopter was on fire when first responders arrived. Dorsainville said all four occupants on board were declared dead at the scene.

Police, however, were unable to provide details on the ownership of the helicopter, where it took off or the identities of the victims, citing early stages of the investigation.

The fire has since been brought under control and the SQ's major crimes unit has taken over the file. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is also sending a team of investigators to the site, police said. Sainte-Brigide-d’Iberville is located roughly 55 kilometres southeast of Montreal.
