香港旗舰航空公司国泰航空已将飞往中东的客运航班停飞期延长至明年1月底，这是自美国和以色列对伊朗开战以来第三次推迟复航。
Hong Kong flag carrier Cathay Pacific Airways has extended its suspension of passenger flights to the Middle East until the end of January next year, marking the third postponement since the US-Israel war on Iran began.
国泰航空周一表示，飞往阿拉伯联合酋长国迪拜和沙特阿拉伯利雅得的客运服务将持续停运至2027年1月31日。
The airline said on Monday that passenger services to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia would remain cancelled through January 31, 2027.
国泰航空表示：“受影响的旅客可灵活选择改期、改道或退票。我们将密切关注中东局势的发展。”该航空公司补充称，国泰货运将继续评估恢复迪拜和利雅得货运航班的时机。
“Affected travellers will be offered the flexibility to rebook, divert or refund their tickets,” Cathay said. “We will closely monitor the evolving situation in the Middle East.” The carrier added that Cathay Cargo would continue to review the timing for resuming freighter services to Dubai and Riyadh.
此次延长停飞期之际，美国政府近日否定了德黑兰提出的在七天内重开霍尔木兹海峡的路线图，促使伊朗外长阿巴斯·阿拉格奇表示，伊朗已准备好与美国进行“末日之战”。
The extension comes after Washington recently rejected Tehran’s seven-day road map to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, prompting Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to say his country was ready for a “doomsday” war with the US.

Monday’s announcement marked the third time Cathay has delayed or extended flight suspensions to the region since the conflict broke out.

On February 28, when a massive joint aerial bombing and missile campaign was launched against Iran, Cathay suspended all passenger and cargo flights to and from the Middle East. In early July, the airline announced plans to progressively resume its Middle East passenger flights from this month. But in mid-July, Cathay pushed back the resumption to the latter half of October. In early September, it announced it would further cancel the flights until the end of November.
