As part of the deal, AM-One will take a minority stake in BFAI and work with the company to develop and distribute AI-driven investment products in Japan, according to an announcement. AM-One, which manages over $500 billion in assets, will offer new equity investment products powered by BFAI’s proprietary neuro-symbolic AI decision engine to its institutional and retail clients. This will allow AM-One’s portfolio managers to perform bottom-up fundamental analysis at scale, identify overvalued securities and deliver repeatable, informed alpha.

The round was preempted by existing investor Third Prime. North Island Ventures, which led Limited’s original seed round, invested again alongside The House Fund and Collab+Currency. Other new investors included ParaFi Capital, Pharsalus Capital, Digital Currency Group and Onigiri Capital. Early backers Arche Capital and SevenX Ventures continue to support the company.
