Russian President Vladimir Putin has banned individuals from taking more than 1 million rubles ($12,300) in cash out of Russia to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, according to a decree published Tuesday.

The restriction also applies to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs regardless of the amount of cash they seek to export, according to the decree published on Russia’s official legal information portal.
例外情况包括通过俄罗斯政府指定机场携带现金出境，以及银行对账单能够证明资金是从出境者本人名下账户中提取的情形。
Exceptions include cash taken out through airports designated by the Russian government and cases in which bank statements confirm that the money was withdrawn from an account belonging to the person exporting it.

The previous limit for individuals was the equivalent of $100,000, while the restrictions did not apply to Azerbaijan, Tajikistan or Uzbekistan.
