北约秘书长马克·吕特周二表示，北约将加强低成本反无人机防御，从而无需动用先进战斗机应对廉价威胁。
NATO will strengthen lower-cost counter-drone defenses so it does not have to deploy advanced fighter jets against inexpensive threats, Secretary General Mark Rutte said Tuesday.
吕特在北约总部与立陶宛总理明道加斯·辛克维丘斯共同举行的新闻发布会上说：“我们将加强成本较低的反无人机防御力量，避免使用高端战机应对低成本威胁。”
“We will strengthen cheaper counter-drone defenses so we are not using high-end jets against low-cost threats,” Rutte said at a joint news conference with Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevicius at NATO headquarters.
他表示，联盟东部边缘地区屡次发生无人机事件，表明相关威胁正在演变。他补充说，北约正通过“多层次、全方位approach”加强其一体化防空和导弹防御，并正借助“Drone Edge”等initiative调整针对无人机的力量部署。
He said repeated drone incidents along the alliance’s eastern flank showed how the threat was evolving. NATO was reinforcing its integrated air and missile defenses through a “multilayered, 360-degree approach” and adapting its posture against drones through initiatives such as Drone Edge, he added.
吕特提到两周前发生的一起事件：北约从立陶宛希奥利艾空军基地部署的意大利战机击落了一架侵犯立陶宛领空的无人机。他称这是“集体防御的实际行动”。辛克维丘斯表示，北约东部边缘地区的防空和战备是双方会谈的主要议题之一。他还说，立陶宛仍计划在2027年底前永久部署一个德国旅。
Rutte cited an incident two weeks ago in which Italian jets deployed by NATO from Lithuania’s Siauliai Air Base shot down a drone that had violated Lithuanian airspace, calling it “collective defense in action.”Sinkevicius said air defense and preparedness on NATO’s eastern flank were among the main topics of their talks. He said Lithuania remained on track to host a permanently deployed German brigade by the end of 2027.
两位领导人还重申了对乌克兰的支持。吕特表示，俄罗斯的敌对行动意在削弱北约的决心，但他承诺联盟将“为乌克兰做得更多，而不是更少”。
The two leaders also reaffirmed support for Ukraine. Rutte said Russia’s hostile actions were intended to weaken NATO’s resolve, but pledged that the alliance would “do even more for Ukraine, and not less.”
