Tebas insisted they could not squeeze anymore out of the football calendar.

That followed story on Friday that City had been found guilty of nearly all the 115 charges the Premier League had levelled against them. On Saturday, Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak wrote a letter to the club’s fans, saying “our confidence and intent in proving the club’s innocence is just as strong as when this began.”Tebas also called for the Court of Arbitration for Sport’s 2020 decision to overturn City’s two-year ban from European competitions to be re-examined.
