Hong Kong commercial banks continue to offer incentives to attract mainland visitors during the first golden week after Beijing tightened cross-border investment rules and enforced the collection of a 20 per cent levy on overseas investment or insurance gains.
据《南华早报》的报道，汇丰银行（HSBC）将为新签约的高端客户提供最高8.8万港元（约合1.1215万美元）的奖励，还包括国庆节烟花晚宴、北京中国网球公开赛门票或K-pop音乐会的门票等体验活动。
HSBC would offer up to HK$88,000 (US$11,215) for new high-end clients, as well as experiences including a National Day fireworks dinner and tickets to the China Open tennis tournament in Beijing or a K-pop concert, according to the bank’s response to the South China Morning Post.
星展银行（DBS）则向在尖沙咀分行开设“DBS Treasures”账户并存款100万港元的客户提供1,500港元的现金返还；而中国工商银行（亚洲）则为新客户提供年利率为6%的定期存款优惠。
DBS would provide a HK$1,500 cash rebate to clients who open a DBS Treasures account in the Tsim Sha Tsui branch with a deposit of HK$1 million between October 1 and 10, while Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) would offer a preferential time deposit interest rate of 6 per cent per annum for new customers.

Right before China’s long holiday from Thursday until Wednesday, OCBC opened a new Central branch on Tuesday, targeting affluent customers with a total balance of HK$8 million or above.
