President Donald Trump said Thursday that the US is considering establishing a military base in Poland.

He said the possibility was under consideration when asked by reporters whether the US was considering putting a base in Poland.
特朗普对波兰总统卡罗尔·纳沃罗茨基表示高度尊重，因此他们正在研究这一方案，而且这有可能实现。
"We have great respect for the president of Poland (Karol Nawrocki), so we're looking at that — and it could happen," Trump told reporters.
特朗普上个月曾表示，美国和波兰在建立美军基地方面取得了‘重大进展’。如果这一计划得以实施，基地的具体位置将会很快公布。这将是美波联盟历史性的一步。
Trump said last month that the US and Poland are making "major progress" toward establishing a US Army base in Poland. "If this happens, the location will be announced very soon. This will be a historic step for our Great U.S./Polish Alliance," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
