We are still working to determine and confirm whether any information was in fact leaked and, if so, the specific scope of the impact. We expect the investigation to take some time to complete.

Our digital services, including The Japan Times Online,r databases, and payment systems, operate on separate and independent infrastructure from the servers affected by this incident, and we have identified no impact or security issues affecting these services as a result of the incident. Our services, including newspaper publication and our websites, also continue to operate as usual.
