These have been declared in the usual way.”The statement added that during Burnham’s time as mayor “representatives of Greater Manchester sporting clubs would routinely join business delegations as part of mayoral international visits.

City have been found guilty of breaking more than 100 Premier League financial regulations by arranging “sham” contracts to artificially inflate revenues and reduce costs in a nine-season run between 2009 and 2018.
