Yet former party leader Nobuyuki Baba said the JIP’s alliance with the ruling Liberal Democratic Party will last only if both sides keep delivering on their agreed upon policies.
“仅仅因为你们结了一次婚，并不意味着这段婚姻会永远持续下去，”Baba 在接受《日本时报》采访时说。
“Just because you get married once doesn’t mean it will last forever,” Baba, a six-term heavyweight and now a JIP adviser, said in a recent interview with The Japan Times.
