现年61岁的冈本光成曾担任财务副大臣，并拥有凯洛格管理学院（Kellogg School of Management）的MBA学位。他在周三的党执行会议上被任命为公明党的新领袖。
Okamoto, 61, is a former deputy finance minister with an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He was appointed Komeito’s new leader at the party’s executive meeting on Wednesday.
“我希望重新开始，明确地传达公明党所追求的社会愿景，以此赢得选民的信任，”冈本光成在就任时表示。
“I want to make a fresh start, and clearly communicate what kind of society Komeito wants in order to earn the trust of voters,” Okamoto said upon his appointment.
