Gland Pharma's board has approved a $21 million investment in its US subsidiary, Gland Pharma USA Inc., which will use the funds to acquire a 60% stake in newly incorporated Novelstar Pharma Inc., according to a regulatory filing on Thursday. The investment is aimed at expanding Gland Pharma's business in the US. The transaction is expected to be completed by October 31, 2026. Once completed, Novelstar Pharma will become a subsidiary of Gland Pharma USA and a step-down subsidiary of Gland Pharma.
