Among the alternatives under considerations is divesting only part of the assets or selling a stake to an investor, said the people, asking not to be identified as the information isn’t public. The assets have a total 2.7 gigawatts of power generation capacity. The move comes as the Lisbon-based company is working with Mubadala Investment Co.-backed Spanish fuel maker Moeve SA on a combination of their refinery and gas station businesses.

Other European peers have also restructured their renewable portfolios in recent months. Galp’s domestic rival EDP Renewables sold an 80% stake in a US renewables portfolio to Ares Infrastructure Equity, while French oil giant TotalEnergies SE sold a 50% stake in a portfolio to KKR & Co.
针对相关传闻，Galp的发言人在接受彭博社采访时拒绝置评。近期，这家葡萄牙企业还以3.2亿欧元（约合3.6亿美元）的价格收购了西班牙的17座陆上风电场，进一步扩大了自身在清洁能源领域的布局。此次收购使得风电资产在Galp所有能源资产中的占比提升至约30%，预计也将推动该公司本年度可再生能源业务的息税折旧摊销前利润达到1.1亿欧元。
A spokesperson for Galp declined to comment when contacted by Bloomberg. The Portuguese company has recently expanded its clean-energy footprint with the acquisition of 17 onshore wind farms in Spain, in a transaction valued at €320 million ($360 million). The deal increased the share of wind power to about 30% of the total held by Galp, and was forecast to lift this year’s pro forma renewables earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization to €110 million.
