Syrians demonstrated on Friday in the northeastern city of Hasakah to demand faster integration of the dissolved Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into state institutions and a stronger government presence in the province, SANA news agency reported.

Demonstrators marched from the Ghweiran neighborhood toward the city’s main square, demanding the deployment of internal security forces in the province to ensure security and stability. They also called for an end to violations and faster implementation of steps to integrate the SDF into government institutions.

Internal security forces were deployed around gathering points and along several main roads to maintain security during the demonstration. Several areas of Hasakah province have recently witnessed shootings and explosions amid government efforts to stabilize the security situation and pursue those involved.
今年8月25日，时任叙利亚民主军指挥官马兹卢姆·阿布迪宣布该武装正式解散，全面并入叙利亚国家体系。今年1月，叙利亚总统艾哈迈德·沙拉颁布法令，承诺保障库尔德人的各项权利及其文化特性。
On Aug. 25, Mazloum Abdi, then-commander of the SDF, announced the dissolution of the group and its full integration into Syrian state institutions. Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa issued a decree in January “guaranteeing the rights of Kurds and some of their particularities” in the country.
