Transfer LP agreed to buy Vaquero Midstream LLC for about $2.63 billion in cash and stock to add natural gas pipeline infrastructure in Texas.

The deal covers three natural gas processing plants and midstream infrastructure across Delaware Basin, including Loving, Reeves, Ward and Winkler counties.

The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter, subject to regulatory approval and other closing conditions, Energy Transfer said Tuesday in a statement.
