Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and his Polish counterpart Karol Nawrocki discussed bilateral cooperation in areas including defense, trade and technology on Tuesday in Manila.
据菲律宾总统府新闻局介绍，在会晤中，两国领导人还探讨了国防与安全、贸易、工业、农业、科学技术、信息通信技术、能源、法律合作以及人文交流等方面的现有及潜在合作项目。纳夫罗茨基是首位对菲律宾进行正式访问的波兰国家元首。
During their bilateral meeting, the two leaders discussed ongoing and potential cooperation in defense and security, trade, industry, agriculture, science and technology, ICT, energy, legal cooperation and people-to-people ties, according to the Philippine Presidential Communications Office. Nawrocki is the first Polish leader to make an official visit to the Philippines.
马科斯指出，双方“对菲波两国国防合作所取得的稳步进展表示欣慰”，其中包括菲律宾采购S-70“黑鹰”多用途军用直升机一事。他还表示，双方期待通过联合训练和教育项目，进一步推进刚刚成立的菲波国防合作联合委员会的工作。
Marcos said that the two sides "welcomed in particular the steady progress in Philippines-Poland defense cooperation," which includes the Philippines acquiring S-70 Black Hawk combat utility helicopters. He said the two sides are looking forward to building on the work of the inaugural Philippines-Poland Joint Defense Cooperation Committee through joint training and educational programs.
两国还同意持续深化农业合作，特别是在贸易、市场准入、动植物检疫、农业科研及教育领域的合作；同时，双方也期待在科技与创新领域，尤其是航天技术方面加强协作。当天，两国还签署了《刑事司法协助协定》。
The two sides agreed to continue strengthening agricultural cooperation, particularly in trade, market access, sanitary and phytosanitary cooperation, agricultural research and education, while also welcoming increased cooperation in science, technology and innovation, including in space technologies. On Tuesday, the two sides also signed an Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters.
纳夫罗茨基与马科斯还就南海局势、乌克兰及欧洲的安全局势等共同关心的地区与国际问题交换了意见，重申双方致力于“维护国际关系中的法治原则及以和平方式解决冲突”。此外，双方还探讨了在菲律宾现任主席国的任期内，如何进一步加强东盟与波兰之间的联系。
Nawrocki and Marcos discussed regional and international issues of mutual concern, including challenges in the South China Sea and security developments in Ukraine and Europe, reiterating their shared commitment to "upholding the rule of law in international relations and the peaceful resolution of conflicts." They also discussed opportunities to further strengthen relations between ASEAN, which the Philippines currently chairs, and Poland.

Poland has participated as an observer in the Balikatan exercises --the annual military exercise between the US and the Phillipines -- since 2025.
