Dubai-based investors are increasingly targeting Türkiye’s logistics and rail sectors as economic ties between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ankara continue to expand since the Comprehensive Economic Partnership deal between the two countries came into force in 2023.

Strengthening road and rail connections, developing port infrastructure and establishing alternative transport corridors are key to diversifying trade routes extending from Gulf countries via Türkiye to Europe.

Mert Danisger, chief representative of the Dubai International Chamber’s Türkiye Office, told Anadolu that recent developments in the region raised the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor and the need to establish alternative routes.
他说：“连接海湾与土耳其的新铁路项目将开辟一条新的物流路线。一旦这些基础设施项目落地，我们将确保货物从海湾经土耳其更快地、更安全地分销至欧洲，同时欧洲商品进入海湾地区的通道也将变得更加便捷。”
“New railway projects connecting the Gulf to Türkiye will create a new logistics route, and once these infrastructure projects are implemented, we will ensure that goods are distributed from the Gulf to Europe via Türkiye more quickly and safely, while access to the Gulf region for European goods will become easier,” he said.
达尼什杰指出，土耳其企业在迪拜举办的国际贸易博览会上表现出强劲的参与度，而迪拜商会致力于帮助土耳其企业进入市场并促进跨境投资。
Danisger stated that Turkish firms show strong participation at international trade fairs hosted in Dubai, while the Dubai Chambers work to help Turkish firms penetrate the market and facilitate cross-border investments.
他强调，阿联酋是土耳其在经济合作方面的关键伙伴，双方以相互贸易和投资为支撑，并补充说建筑、食品和医疗已成为两国间突出的合作领域。
He noted that the UAE is a key partner for Türkiye in economic cooperation, supported by mutual trade and investments, adding that construction, food and healthcare came to the fore as prominent cooperation sectors between the two countries.
