Amnesty International's French office criticized France on Thursday for increasing deliveries of military equipment to Israel, accusing Paris of helping sustain Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip.

"The genocide in Gaza perpetrated by the Israeli authorities has been ongoing for 3 years," the rights group wrote on US social media platform X. "Why is it not being stopped? Because Israel can count on the support of other countries.”It singled out France, saying Paris had increased deliveries of military equipment to Israel in 2025 compared to 2024.

The rights group said France delivered €19.8 million ($22.1 million) worth of military equipment to Israel in 2025, up from €16.1 million the previous year.

The figures came from the French Defense Ministry's report to parliament on arms exports, it said, adding that the information had gone largely unnoticed in France during the summer.
