The developer of One Stanley has offered flat owners a six-year structural warranty and free independent property inspections amid an investigation into suspected steel reinforcement deficiencies at the seaside luxury residential development in southern Hong Kong.
One Stanley 开发商 K&K Property 的子公司 K Wise 于周五回应了这场逐渐发酵的丑闻。此前一周，当地一家房地产媒体曾报道该项目存在施工不达标的问题。K Wise 发布声明，概述了针对业主及完成交易的购房者的补救措施。

K Wise, a subsidiary of One Stanley developer K&K Property, addressed the brewing scandal on Friday, a week after allegations of substandard work were reported by a local property media outlet, issuing a statement outlining remedial measures for homeowners and buyers completing transactions. “The company understands that the incident has caused concern among property owners, buyers and the public, and will make building safety and safeguarding the interests of owners its top priority,” K Wise said.
声明还称：“除公司已提供的三年缺陷责任期外，我们还将自购房完成之日起，额外提供为期六年的结构保修。”此外，“我们还将安排具备资质的独立专业人士为业主和购房者进行房屋检查，所有费用将由我们承担。”
“On top of the three-year defect liability period already provided by our company, we will also offer a six-year structural warranty from the date of completion of the purchase.”It added: “[We will] ... also arrange independent, qualified professionals to conduct property inspections for owners and buyers, and all costs will be covered”.

The online property news platform claimed that an on-site inspection of a house found insufficient steel bars had been used in some parts of the home.

The number fell short by as much as 75 per cent from the approved building plans, according to the report.
涉事房产是一套四卧、面积 3000 平方英尺（278 平方米）的独立屋，据报道，业主于 2024 年以约 1 亿港元（1270 万美元）购入。
The property in question is a four-bedroom, 3,000 square foot (278 square metre) detached house, which the owner reportedly bought in 2024 for about HK$100 million (US$12.7 million).

The irregularities were subsequently spotted by engineers and contractors hired by the owner during internal renovations, according to the report.

The owner made a report to the Buildings Department, which revealed last week it had been carrying out inspections at the development since March. The department has also asked the developer to submit a report.

In Friday’s statement, K Wise said it had contacted the owner of the detached house in question to discuss follow-up plans.

It said it had proposed that “both parties jointly hire an independent professional to conduct further inspections to clarify the circumstances”. But no consensus was reached, according to K Wise.

Both sides had also discussed related claims but no agreement was reached either, the company said.
“关于双方之间的私人合同及法律事宜，我司暂不打算作进一步评论，”K Wise说道。
“Regarding the private contracts and legal matters between the two parties, our company is not prepared to make further comments,” K Wise said.
至于后续举措，该公司称已联系完成交易的业主，同时也在持续与正处于交易流程中的买家沟通。
On follow-up actions, the company said it had contacted owners who had completed their transactions and was continuing to reach out to buyers who were currently in the process of making a transaction.
“鉴于调查仍在进行中，现阶段我司不宜对尚未核实的技术问题发表评论，以免在调查结束前引发无端猜测或产生偏颇判断，”该公司补充道。
“As the investigation is ongoing, it is not appropriate for our company to comment on unverified technical matters at this stage so as to avoid making speculations or biased judgments before the completion of the investigation,” it said.
据《南华早报》了解，今年3月至9月期间，One Stanley项目共完成了24笔交易。
The South China Morning Post has learned that 24 transactions were recorded at One Stanley between March and September.
