President Donald Trump on Saturday named Katie Bailey to lead the White House’s Office of Legislative Affairs, appointing her to be the liaison between the administration and Congress.

Trump added that Bailey is currently his deputy director of legislative affairs, liaising with the Senate and, per Trump, helping with the confirmations of Cabinet members including Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin and Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton.

Bailey’s appointment comes a day after Trump named Katie Zacharia to be his new White House press secretary.
