A young woman was found dead in her seat aboard a plane after fellow travellers began disembarking and realised she had not moved.

Ms Lopez Solis was travelling on domestic flight 3358 from Tijuana to Tapachula International Airport in Chiapas when the grim discovery was made on October 7. The flight had arrived in the early hours of the morning, with passengers initially disembarking as normal.

The full autopsy report has not been publicly released. Ms Lopez Solis was returning to Chiapas to reunite with family, according to local reports.
