Stock Exchange Group Plc is in talks over a potential acquisition of global credit platform Octus from private equity firm Permira, people familiar with the matter said.

The UK stock exchange operator is discussing a transaction that could value Octus at around $3.5 billion, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing confidential information.
