Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said trade negotiations with the US were close to a conclusion, though final details remained to be resolved. The comments pointed to progress in talks as India and the US work toward a bilateral trade agreement. “It’s heading in the right direction. We’re very encouraged by it,” Jaishankar said at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in New Delhi.
