A man has been extradited back to the UK and charged with murder in the investigation into the death of a 16-year-old in Manchester.

Alexander John Soyoye, known as John, died after being stabbed in the Moston area of Manchester in November 2020.

Wilson, who was detained in Portugal in March and was extradited on Tuesday, appeared at Manchester Magistrates' Court earlier, Greater Manchester Police said. He is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Friday.
