Management Corp. agreed to purchase railcar-leasing company Infinity Transportation from KKR & Co. for $2.9 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported.
《华尔街日报》周一指出，KKR持有总部位于亚特兰大的Infinity约五年时间，在此期间该公司的账面价值增长了一倍有余。
KKR has owned Atlanta-based Infinity for roughly five years and has more than doubled the book value in that time, the WSJ said Monday.
报道称，Infinity目前拥有约5万辆铁路车辆，为北美地区350多家客户提供服务。2021年，KKR收购了保险公司Global Atlantic的多数股权，而这家保险公司正是Infinity的幕后支持方，由此KKR正式成为Infinity的所有者。
Infinity owns about 50,000 railcars and serves more than 350 customers across North America, the publication said. KKR became the owner of Infinity in 2021 when it bought a majority stake in insurer Global Atlantic, which had backed the business.
