Cybersecurity and web infrastructure firm Blackwall is the latest Estonian startup to join the ranks of unicorns.

The company has raised $100 million in a Series C funding round at a valuation of $2.2 billion according to a statement seen by Bloomberg. The funding was led by Atlantic Vantage Point, with participation from existing investors Dawn Capital and MMC Ventures.

“Blackwall has built something rare: a security company that grows with the internet itself,” said Warda Shaheen, general partner at AVP, an investment firm that focuses on sectors such as enterprise software and fintech.

Blackwall plans to use the new capital to increase its global presence across the web traffic management market.

The Estonian startup, previously known as BotGuard, raised $45 million in the last funding round in 2025. Estonia touts itself as a world leader in unicorns per capita, with others from the Baltic country including the likes of Bolt and Skype.
