Ryanair Chief Executive Michael O’Leary urged the EU to impose a levy on US and Chinese airlines operating in Europe, arguing that European carriers face an uneven regulatory burden, Euronews reported Tuesday.

O’Leary criticized European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen as “useless” for the EU’s failure to improve competitiveness.
