Ltd. is planning to unveil more details of its strategic transformation in the first half of next year, as the embattled bourse seeks to execute a turnaround.

Australia’s main exchange operator will announce its strategy at its Capital Markets Day in 2027, according to an exchange filing Thursday ahead of its annual general meeting, where Chief Executive Officer Anthony Attia will face shareholders in his first public address since starting the role in September.

Investors and market participants are closely watching for further details of Attia’s plan to reset the exchange, which has faced scrutiny from regulators after years of governance and risk management failures. The firm in July updated its transformation agenda, known as the Accelerate Program, with the approval of regulators.

“As we start to develop our strategy, I see three themes emerging: fix, grow and expand,” Attia said in the filing. “Fix is about strengthening our foundations and resilience. Grow creates more value from the infrastructure and relationships we already have. Expand opens carefully chosen opportunities to diversify the business, connecting Australian customers with new markets and offshore customers with ours.”The former Euronext NV executive has previously indicated his broader vision for transforming the exchange, including benchmarking itself against leading peers and making Australia a strong financial center. Attia is also focused on bringing ASX into lockstep with global developments, including extended trading hours and faster settlement times.

ASX also maintained its capital expenditure guidance of between A$180 million ($126 million) and A$200 million in the financial year ending June 2027, according to the filing. Costs for the following fiscal year are still expected to be between A$170 million and A$190 million.
