In 2020, as a state senator, Strickland shared a press release that called for officials to consider launching an investigation into “fraudulent activities” in the 2020 election, a forensic audit of the election in Georgia, and new voting laws in the state.

Strickland has also signaled his willingness to fall in line with the Trump administration’s continuing efforts to investigate the 2020 election. When FBI officials raided Fulton County’s election offices earlier this year and seized ballots from the 2020 election, Strickland called it a “transparency” measure. “Fulton County can't run elections,” Strickland wrote on X in February. “That's the simple truth. Every Georgian, regardless of party, should have faith in our election process.”An Atlanta Journal Constitution poll published this week shows Strickland in a tie with his Democrat opponent Tanya Miller.

A long-time promoter of baseless conspiracy theories about fraudulent elections, Kobach previously served as Kansas’ secretary of state from 2011 to 2019. During his time in office, Kobach claimed that an estimated 18,000 noncitizens were on the state’s voter rolls based on non-peer reviewed research that initially found six people who may have attemped to or registered to vote. In 2017, Trump appointed Kobach to the short-lived “election integrity” commission that found no evidence of widespread voter fraud.

Michigan In Michigan, Eaton County prosecutor Doug Lloyd won the GOP nomination for attorney general earlier this year, in a race that had once included Matt DePerno, a lawyer facing felony charges for undue possession of a voting machine and conspiracy in the wake of the 2020 election. (DePerno pled not guilty to the charges, and the case is still pending in the district court.) Unlike DePerno, Lloyd is not typically labeled as an election denier, and he has claimed to be more moderate than his Democratic opponent, Eli Savit.

Nevada In Nevada, Trump has endorsed lawyer Adriana Guzmán Fralick for the position of attorney general. That may be because she has said she would push for Nevada’s version of the SAVE Act, which Trump has failed to force Congress to approve on a federal level. The act would impose severe restrictions on eligible voters by requiring those registered to produce a passport or birth certificate, documents that tens of millions of Americans readily do not have.

Guzmán Fralick has also touted the endorsement of Joey Gilbert, a far-right boxer turned MAGA influencer who gained fame for spreading conspiracy theories about the Covid-19 pandemic. Gilbert, who calls Fralick a “friend,” was also present at the rally at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. While he didn’t enter the building, he was captured on video near serial conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, chanting “1776.”
