SEOUL, Oct 23 : HD Hyundai Co said on Friday it has signed a deal with Kiewit Corp to build an advanced US shipyard next year, with operations expected to begin in 2029 and create about 3,000 domestic jobs.
现代方面称，新船厂有望提升美国造船产能，助力行业复苏。双方将在声明中表示，将探索商船与军用辅助舰艇等领域的合作机会。
The new shipyard is expected to boost U.S. shipbuilding capacity and help revive the industry, Hyundai said. The partners will explore opportunities in both commercial ships and military support vessels, it said in a statement.
