Red wind warning issued for Channel Islands A red weather warning for wind has been issued in the Channel Islands ahead of Storm Austen.

Jersey Met has forecast very strong winds with gusts reaching 75mph (120km/h) and potentially up to 85mph, with the strongest winds expected early on Friday.
