Security Study Finds Nvidia Blackwell B300 GPUs Accessible via Chinese IP Addresses Cybersecurity firm Lava Security reported identifying 32 advanced Nvidia B300 Blackwell Ultra GPUs and over 340 other Blackwell-generation chips accessible through unauthenticated monitoring endpoints geolocated to China.

The broader research uncovered more than 12,000 exposed GPUs globally across roughly 2,000 public IP addresses, including 4,724 Nvidia GPUs on China-associated networks. Approximately 86% of the exposed Blackwell GPUs in China were clustered in eight-GPU server configurations. While U.S. export controls restrict advanced AI chip shipments to China, Lava Security noted that IP geolocation is not definitive proof of physical hardware location or regulatory violations. Globally, nearly 60% of monitored GPUs showed zero utilization at observation time.
