Singapore-based industrial AI startup Ailytics has raised $7.4 million in a Series A funding round led by Tin Men Capital.

The round also saw participation from SEEDS, which is part of SG Growth Capital; Japan-based cloud camera company Safie; a Japanese construction company; family offices; and existing investors, according to an announcement on Monday (Oct. 26).

The funding follows a $2.7 million pre-Series A round led by Tin Men Capital in April 2024. Since then, Ailytics has expanded its footprint from 70 projects across four countries to more than 400 deployments in 15 countries.

Founded in 2021, Ailytics develops vision AI software that uses existing closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems to monitor workplace safety and operational performance in heavy industries. Its platform, Ailyssa, analyses video feeds to identify potential hazards and provide real-time alerts, including in environments with poor lighting, dust and obstructed views.

In June, Ailytics deployed its contextual reasoning engine, AilyssaX, to process contextual scenes on the move and verify multi-step procedures, enabling more accurate and meaningful alerts. Five years of live deployments have trained AilyssaX to work through rain, dust, poor lighting, obstructed views and decades-old cameras, where models built in controlled settings often struggle.

The company said its deployments include NatSteel, shipyard operator PaxOcean in Indonesia, DHL, Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci International Airport and the construction site for Changi Airport’s Terminal 5, where its system monitors more than 1,000 cameras.

Ailytics plans to use the funding to strengthen its local teams in the US, Japan, Australia and the Gulf, while developing industry-specific AI models and expanding into sectors including manufacturing, logistics, oil and gas, maritime, and mining.

According to DealStreetAsia DATA VANTAGE, Ailytics has raised $6.36 million in equity funding since its inception. Tin Men Capital is the company’s top institutional shareholder with a 24% stake.

The company also said its platform had detected more than 5.7 million hazards and monitored over 500 million square metres of active worksites. According to Ailytics, customers have reported a 73% reduction in total recordable incident rates and 84% fewer safety non-compliances.

Tin Men Capital said the startup had expanded into 15 markets while maintaining client churn below 1%.

Ailytics originated as a research project between the National University of Singapore and Singapore’s Housing and Development Board in 2019 before being established as a company. It has since expanded beyond construction into other industrial settings, where businesses can use existing camera infrastructure rather than install new systems.

Ailytics signed a memorandum of understanding with Safie, a supplier to 29 of Japan’s 30 largest construction companies, in April 2026, witnessed by Enterprise Singapore and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Safie’s investment extends that partnership and deepens Ailytics’ position in Japan, one of its priority markets.
