Estonia and Türkiye discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and deepen cooperation during a meeting between Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna and Türkiye's new ambassador to Estonia, Yonca Ozceri, Tsahkna said Tuesday.
察赫克纳在美国社交媒体平台上表示：“在此背景下，今天很高兴会见土耳其新任驻爱沙尼亚大使永贾·厄兹切里，探讨我们如何能进一步加强两国友谊、深化合作。”察赫克纳还表示，土耳其空军正从爱沙尼亚的阿马里空军基地为波罗的海国家的防御作出贡献。他补充说，上周两国纪念了复交35周年。
"Against this backdrop, it was a pleasure to meet today with Türkiye’s new Ambassador to Estonia, Yonca Ozceri, to discuss how we can further strengthen the friendship and deepen cooperation between our countries," Tsahkna said on US social media platform Tsahkna also said the Turkish Air Force is contributing to the defense of the Baltic states from Estonia's Amari Air Base. Last week the two countries marked the 35th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations, he added.
