Türkiye said Tuesday that its policy in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean remains unchanged, reaffirming its commitment to defending its legitimate rights and interests in line with international law.
土耳其外交部在一份官方声明中说：“土耳其根据国际法，在所有平台上一贯坚决捍卫的立场保持不变。”
“Türkiye’s positions, which it consistently and resolutely defends on all platforms in accordance with international law, remain unchanged,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in an official statement.
外交部表示，安卡拉将像以往一样继续“不作让步”地维护其在两个地区的合法权益。
The ministry said Ankara would continue to protect its legitimate rights and interests in the two regions “without concessions,” as it has always done.
声明还否认了外长哈坎·菲丹接受希腊一家日报采访的说法，称他在布鲁塞尔一个智库举办的活动上的发言被歪曲并完全断章取义。
The statement also rejected claims that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had given an interview to a Greek daily, saying his remarks at an event organized by a think tank in Brussels had been distorted and taken entirely out of context.
外交部说：“与一位政党主席的说法相反，我们的（外交）部长没有接受希腊出版的一家报纸的采访”，并指责批评者将土耳其的地区政策变成政治争议的主题。
“Contrary to the statements made by the chairman of a political party, our (foreign) minister did not give an interview to a newspaper published in Greece,” the ministry said, accusing critics of turning Türkiye’s regional policy into a subject of political controversy.
