Hong Kong has suspended imports of poultry meat and products from parts of Denmark and the US due to bird flu outbreaks, state media reported on Tuesday Imports have been suspended from the Lolland Municipality in Denmark and Jackson County in the US state of Minnesota due to outbreaks in these areas, Beijing-based Xinhua News reported, citing Hong Kong's Center for Food Safety (CFS).
当局已指示进口商立即暂停从上述地区进口禽肉及其产品（包括蛋品），以保障香港公众健康。
Authorities have instructed importers to suspend imports of poultry meat and products, including eggs, from these areas with immediate effect to protect public health in Hong Kong.
食物安全中心发言人表示，此决定是在接获丹麦兽医及食品管理局和世界动物卫生组织（WOAH）关于上述地区发生高致病性H5N1禽流感疫情的通报后作出的。
A CFS spokesperson said the decision followed notifications from the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration and the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) about outbreaks of highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza in these areas.
