GOA, India, Oct 28 - Indian gasoline demand is set to peak by 2035 as electric vehicles gain ground, ethanol blending continues and more cars run on gas, the chairman of state-run refiner Indian Oil Corp said on Wednesday.
A·S·萨尼（A S Sahney）在一次行业活动上表示：“车用汽油正面临来自各方面的压力，这是一个令人担忧的领域。”
"Motor spirit is feeling pressure from all sides, that's one area of concern," A S Sahney said at an industry event.
相比之下，在工业扩张和航空业的支撑下，柴油和航空煤油的消费量将继续增长。
In contrast, diesel and jet fuel consumption would continue to grow backed by industrial expansion and the aviation sector.
他表示，占炼油产量百分之三十的重质馏分（如重油和石油焦）的需求也将上升。
He said demand for bottom heavy grades such as fuel oil and petcoke, which account for 30% of refining yield, would also rise.
另外，他表示该公司（IOC）正在评估小型模块化反应堆等不同技术，并补充说最终决定取决于商业可行性。
Separately, he said IOC was evaluating different technologies such as small modular reactors, adding a final decision depended on commercial viability.
