SA Chief Executive Officer Valérie Baudson said the recent turmoil in France hasn’t had an impact on the Paris-based asset manager, which reported a higher profit in the third quarter.

“The message we’re sending to our clients, international ones also, is to remain confident about France despite the situation,” Baudson said on a call with reporters, adding that the country is “structurally sound” and leads the way in many sectors, including finance.
Amundi表示，该期间调整后净收入较去年同期增长20%，达到4.09亿欧元（4.56亿美元），基本符合彭博社调查分析师的预期。管理资产同比增长11%，达到2.6万亿欧元。
Amundi’s adjusted net income for the period increased 20% from a year earlier to €409 million ($456 million), it said in a statement Thursday, broadly in line with estimates from analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. Assets under management rose 11% year-over-year to €2.6 trillion.

“Retail inflows were particularly strong this quarter, driven in part by robust growth in exchange-traded funds, but also by other factors, such as growth in life insurance.,” Baudson said on the call.

Amundi, Europe’s largest asset manager, is reporting its results as France is enduring weeks of protests over surging public debt — though of most the turbulence played out after third quarter ended on Sept. 30. Business activity unexpectedly contracted in October, and the country’s bond markets suffered a historic bout of turbulence, pushing the spread between French and German yields to the highest since the euro-area debt crisis in 2011.
博德松表示，法国主权资产占Amundi管理资产的比例不到3.5%。
Baudson said that French sovereign assets account for less than 3.5% of Amundi’s AUM.

“We are an international company with a highly diversified client base,” she told journalists.

Amundi, controlled by Credit Agricole SA, said it received strong inflows in Northern Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Still, it also reported €4 billion of outflows from UniCredit SpA’s networks in the quarter. Amundi has maintained a sales partnership with the Italian bank, but the future of the deal is uncertain as it’s set to expire next year. Amundi oversaw €71 billion from UniCredit networks as of Sept. 30.
