A company led by executives of ByHeart, the infant-formula maker whose product sickened dozens of babies with botulism last year, will buy Perrigo Co.’s infant-formula business for up to $175 million, Perrigo said Thursday.

Funt’s LinkedIn profile indicates she stopped working at ByHeart in July. A spokesperson for MeridianMade said ByHeart has been “discontinued” and won’t relaunch.

Perrigo expects the deal to help it focus more on its consumer self-care portfolio, Albert Manzone, Perrigo’s interim president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027.
