Amazon said its Amazon MGM Studios generated over 1.2 billion dollars in global box office this year, led by Project Hail Mary with an estimated 684 million dollars. Jassy cited TV hits including Reacher, which drew 66 million viewers in 28 days, and sports growth, with Thursday Night Football averaging 17.7 million viewers, up 16 percent, per Nielsen.
