TAIPEI -- Taiwanese electronics maker Foxconn unveiled three new electric vehicle models on Friday, expanding the range of platforms it offers as it seeks to grow its contract automobile manufacturing business.
Model K 设计为紧凑型商用车，类似于日本轻型卡车。配备货箱后，可配置为厢式货车，用于包裹递送或移动零售运营等用途。客户可根据电机配置选择 120 公里或 250 公里的续航里程。
The Model K is designed as a compact commercial vehicle similar to a Japanese compact truck. When fitted with a cargo compartment, it can be configured as a van for uses such as parcel delivery or mobile retail operations. Customers can choose a driving range of either 120 or 250 kilometers, depending on the motor configuration.
富士康电动车业务首席战略官关纯一郎表示：“我们计划以极具竞争力的价格提供该车型。”
"We plan to offer it at a very competitive price," said Jun Seki, chief strategy officer of Foxconn's EV business.
Model K+ 为运动型多用途车变体，后部配备高速电机，前轮集成轮毂电机。该四轮驱动系统旨在提升在多雪地区的适用性。
The Model K+, a sport utility vehicle variant, features a high-speed motor at the rear and in-wheel motors integrated into the front wheels. The four-wheel-drive system is intended to improve usability in snowy regions.
