交易所运营商香港交易及结算所有限公司（HKEX）正进一步迈向全天候交易，根据周一发布的声明，将从明年起把盘后衍生品市场的收盘时间推迟75分钟。
Bourse operator Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) is taking a further step towards round-the-clock trading by pushing back the closing bell for its after-hours derivatives market by 75 minutes from next year, according to a statement released on Monday.
根据港交所消息，衍生品盘后交易（AHT）时段将由凌晨3时延长至凌晨4时15分（香港时间），自2027年3月开始实施，惟须视乎监管批准及系统就绪情况。港交所补充指，亦正考虑于2027年11月进一步延长至凌晨5时15分。盘后交易时段于下午5时15分开始。
The derivatives After-Hours Trading (AHT) session would extend to 4.15am from 3am, Hong Kong time, starting in March 2027, subject to regulatory approval and system readiness, according to HKEX. It added it was also considering a further extension to 5.15am by November 2027. The AHT session starts at 5.15pm.
另外，港交所周一宣布，已开始接受“债券通”证券及财政部债券作为合资格非现金抵押品，拓宽抵押品选择并支持流动性管理，作为拓展香港离岸人民币生态系统努力的一部分。
Separately, HKEX announced on Monday that it had begun accepting Bond Connect securities and Ministry of Finance bonds as eligible non-cash collateral, broadening collateral choice and supporting liquidity management, as part of efforts to extend Hong Kong’s offshore yuan ecosystem.
港交所表示，首日参与情况踊跃，令人鼓舞，有七家机构提交了逾4亿元人民币（约6000万美元）合资格债券作为抵押品。
HKEX said it was encouraged by the strong participation on the first day, with seven institutions posting more than 400 million yuan (US$60 million) worth of eligible bonds as collateral.
港交所市场主管余伟文表示：“这标志着强化跨市场互联互通以及香港持续发展为全球离岸人民币中心的又一重要里程碑。”
“It marks another important milestone in strengthening cross-market connectivity and in Hong Kong’s continued development as a global offshore yuan centre,” said Gregory Yu, head of markets at HKEX.
此举正值交易所寻求缩小与地区竞争对手的差距，并更紧密对接美欧交易时段之际。
The moves come as the exchange seeks to narrow the gap with regional rivals and align more closely with US and European trading hours.

The announcements were made on the eve of the city’s flagship Global Financial Leaders’ Investment Summit, where top Wall Street executives and policymakers gather to discuss Hong Kong’s competitiveness.
港交所首席运营官刘慧卿表示：“延长盘后交易时段将让市场参与者在日益动态的全球市场中拥有更大灵活性来管理风险敞口，同时强化香港作为国际风险管理中心的角色。”
“Extending the AHT session will give market participants more flexibility to manage their exposures amid increasingly dynamic global markets, while at the same time strengthening Hong Kong’s role as an international risk management centre,” said Vanessa Lau, chief operating officer at HKEX.
现货市场也在积聚动能。证券及期货事务监察委员会（证监会）行政总裁梁凤仪在10月的一个论坛上表示，香港交易及结算所有限公司（港交所）将于第四季度发布咨询文件，就延长现货市场交易时间的建议征求市场意见。
Momentum is also building in the cash market. Julia Leung Fung-yee, CEO of the Securities and Futures Commission, said at a forum in October that HKEX would publish a consultation paper in the fourth quarter to gather market feedback on a proposal to extend cash-market trading hours.
港交所表示，为支持更长的盘后交易时段，将对若干交易后服务时段和风险管理程序作出相应调整。该公司补充说，衍生产品市场的其他交易和运作安排，包括日间交易时段和假期交易，将维持不变。
To support the longer AHT session, corresponding adjustments would be made to certain post-trade service windows and risk management procedures, HKEX said. Other trading and operational arrangements in the derivatives market, including day-session trading hours and holiday trading, would remain unchanged, it added.
为解决正常银行服务时间以外的抵押品瓶颈问题，交易所还正与香港金融管理局（金管局）合作，就利用电子港元（e-HKD）进行盘后保证金存款开展试点项目。
To address collateral bottlenecks outside normal banking hours, the bourse is also partnering with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) on a pilot project using the e-HKD for off-hour margin deposits.
电子港元是由金管局直接发行的香港元数字版本，供金融机构和机构市场参与者使用。
The e-HKD is a digital version of the Hong Kong dollar issued directly by HKMA for use by financial institutions and institutional market participants.
自2013年推出盘后交易时段以来，港交所持续扩大产品覆盖范围，并逐步延长交易时间，以满足日益增长的投资者需求。港交所大多数股指、商品和货币衍生产品均可在盘后交易时段进行交易。
Since the launch of the AHT session in 2013, HKEX has continuously expanded product coverage and progressively extended trading hours to meet growing investor demand. Most of HKEX’s equity index, commodities and currency derivatives are available for trading during the AHT session.
