US asset manager Apollo has launched a new European private credit platform worth roughly $11 billion, backed by Abu Dhabi investors among other major global participants. The platform targets corporate lending across Europe.

Apollo Global Management announced it has set up a new private credit platform worth roughly 10 billion euros, or $11 billion, to lend to companies across Europe. An Abu Dhabi-based investment institution has joined as a backer alongside other major global investors, and Apollo said the partnership would strengthen the platform's capital base.
