Dramatic footage shows the moment a Singapore Airlines flight abandons landing at Perth Airport on Saturday in a scary near-miss.

Just seconds before its wheels are about to hit the runway, the aircraft starts dramatically tilting to the right, with its wing alarmingly close to the ground. It abandons the landing attempt and continues to climb back into the sky.

Flightradar24 data showed the plane perform a go-around – a standard safety procedure – before safely landing on its second attempt at about 12.30pm.
