Simoes joins from Apollo Global Management Inc. where he was responsible for sourcing credit and structured equity investment opportunities among private equity-backed companies since starting at the firm in 2025, according to Apollo’s website. He had previously worked at Oaktree Capital Management LP and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Representatives for Carlyle and Apollo declined to comment. Simoes did not respond to requests for comment.
