Two children and three other people were miraculously found alive and rescued after being stranded on a tiny boat in the Pacific Ocean for three months, officials said.

The tempest knocked the tiny vessel wildly off course and they were finally found off Fanning Island, an isle part of the island nation of Kiribati, according to authorities.

A search by the US Coast Guard of Micronesia canvassed 25,000 nautical miles for the group, before the command eventually called off the search on Aug. 9.

Kiribati MP Kaotitaake Rakoroa said the crew then received medical attention and are currently in the care of a local pastor.

Micronesian and Kiribati officials said they’re working on returning the crew back home, as Micronesian politician Alexander Narruhn said “[t]hanks be to God” the crew were found. “We continued to pray for their four companions,” Narruhn added.
