Clients of Deutsche Finance include the German pension fund group Bayerische Versorgungskammer (BVK), which has said that the firm had cooperated with it on investments in US real estate including San Francisco’s Transamerica Pyramid totaling €1.6 billion ($1.8 billion). The fund, through which it made these investments, now faces potential losses of as much as €853 million, according to BVK.
