US President Donald Trump on Wednesday praised the design and security features of a new White House ballroom as an exceptionally secure facility capable of hosting world leaders and major events.
特朗普重点介绍了加固的建筑结构、大量安全措施以及规划中的无人机设施。
Trump highlighted the reinforced construction, extensive security measures and planned drone facilities.

“You'll have tremendous, just a tremendous structure. It's a structure the likes of which has never been done. The ceilings are over 50 feet high,” Trump said publicly at the White House for the first time since the US midterm election on Tuesday.

He described the ceilings as “drone-proof, missile-proof, bulletproof,” adding that the floor would be particularly thick and the area beneath the structure specially designed to strengthen its security.

Trump also revealed plans for a drone port in the building. “We're building a drone port. It holds as many drones as you want. It can hold over 100 drones at the maximum size too,” he said. The president predicted that the completed project would become a prominent addition to the capital's architectural landscape.
