By Kok Leong Chan Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said his Barisan Nasional party will leave the ruling coalition once parliament is dissolved at the next election, the New Straits Times reported.
国阵主席阿末扎希引述称：“国会一旦解散，我们就不再与他们合作。”这一表态凸显了首相安瓦尔·易卜拉欣领导的团结政府内部持续存在的紧张关系。
“The moment Parliament is dissolved, we are no longer with them,” the BN chairman was quoted as saying, signaling continued tensions within Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s unity government.
阿末扎希同时也是马来民族机构（巫统）主席，他表示，与安瓦尔领导的希望联盟合作并不意味着国阵放弃了自身的身份认同。
Zahid, who is also the United Malays National Organisation president, said their collaboration with Anwar’s Pakatan Harapan doesn’t mean BN has surrendered its identity.
他指出，国阵加入安瓦尔政府是履行对前任国王阿都拉·阿末沙的承诺，并强调国阵将在国会解散前留在政府中。马来西亚必须在2028年初之前举行下一次大选。
He said the party joined Anwar’s government as part of a promise to the previous King Sultan Abdullah Ahmad Shah, adding that it will remain in the administration until parliament is dissolved. Malaysia must hold its next general election by early 2028.
不过，阿末扎希表示，在州选期间，他的政党有权自主决定与哪些政党合作。
Zahid, however, said his party is free to decide which parties it wants to work with during state elections.

In recent state elections, BN contested Johor on its own and teamed up with opposition Perikatan Nasional in Negeri Sembilan polls to win both states.
